Harvesting herbs

  1. Wait for the herb to come into flower.
  2. Then the plant is ready for harvest
  3. Grab approximately 20 stalks of flowers into a bunch.
  4. Cut the herb no less than 5cm above the woody growth with scissors.
  5. Then tie the stalks together using twine.
  6. Hang the stalks upside down in a dry, cool and dark spot by
  7. Hang off hooks or nails.
  8. Re tie if they fall apart.
  9. Cut the remaining herb bush so the plant looks tidy.
