Managing compost

1. This is how you do a three bin “continuous batch system”:   
2. In the empty compost unit layer up the compost with three types of waste
   1. 50% soft waste:
      1. Grass waste
      2. Fresh garden waste
      3. Kitchen waste
   2. 50% Brown waste:
      1. Cardboard
      2. Wood chip and small Branches
      3. Leaves
3. Meanwhile, in the third unit, use the rotted down compost in the other unit for composting the garden.
4. By the time the rotted down compost is empty, start filling it with soft and brown waste, starting the process all over again.
